Do you have questions about your Sunshine Coast wedding ceremony?

Here are some answers!

HOW DO WE KNOW YOU ARE THE RIGHT SUNSHINE COAST CELEBRANT FOR US?

You will know because we will click! It’s all about the connection we share. Every Celebrant is different and I strongly believe it’s important that you take the time to meet a few of us to find the right one for you. I’m a relaxed, warm-hearted and bubbly little soul who loves a good coffee, yoga, all dogs and horses under the sun, and family is incredibly important to me. So, if my vibe feels right for you and you feel I’m the right fit for your wedding day, let’s catch up to chat!

CAN YOU GIVE US SOME TIPS ON HOW TO PLAN A SUSTAINABLE WEDDING?

First and foremost, check out Less Stuff More Meaning’s Wedding Footprint Calculator which cleverly combines industry knowledge with scientific data to empower you to work out your wedding’s carbon emissions. You can also browse through the brilliant Mindfully Wed E-Guide, choose your Eco-Ethical Wedding Vendors and watch the incredibly informative Sustainably Wed series by a lovely Canadian couple who planned, created and celebrated their own sustainable wedding.

DO YOU RECOMMEND WE HOLD A REHEARSAL?

If you have more than 2 fabulous folk in your wedding party (or I do crew), then yes, holding a ceremony rehearsal will put all your minds at ease. We can meet at your wedding venue the day or two before your wedding day to casually run through all the elements of your ceremony. You’ll walk away with a clear idea of how I’ll coordinate your ceremony, taking all the stress away and making you feel calm and excited about your big day (as you should!). If you choose not to have a rehearsal, I’ll give you a pre-ceremony call so we can chat about all the fine details to iron out any last minute concerns you may have. Additionally, when I write your ceremony, I include a script within your ceremony content so you can clearly see how I gently lead you all through your entire ceremony from the moment I arrive to the moment I shimmy off home.

HOW LONG WILL OUR SUNSHINE COAST CEREMONY RUN FOR?

It’s totally up to you! Want your bestie to read a tear-jerking poem? Or maybe your Dad to share his wit, wisdom and well wishes for you both instead of a speech later on? Go for it! We can keep things short and sweet at 10 minutes, but typically, I only need 30 minutes to work my magic and get you two hitched. We'll keep things relaxed, fun, and all about you!

CAN YOU HELP US WRITE OUR WEDDING VOWS?

I would love to!  I remember how hard it was to write my own vows so I am more than happy to give you advice and will share some examples to help you get started.  When you have your first draft ready, I would love to review your vows and help you finalise them in time for your ceremony. I promise to keep them a secret from your partner!

WHICH SUNSHINE COAST WEDDING VENDORS DO YOU RECOMMEND?

You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to professional, knowledgeable and brilliant wedding vendors here on the Sunshine Coast! I’ve worked with many fantastic vendors, and here is a list of some of the BEST Sunshine Coast wedding suppliers to get you started on your planning journey.

I respectfully acknowledge the Gubbi Gubbi and Jinibara peoples, the traditional owners of the land on which I live and work. I recognise their deep and continuing connection to land, sea and community, and pay my deepest respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

I strongly believe everyone deserves to feel safe, seen, heard and celebrated, especially on their wedding day. With me, your love is most welcome and affirmed authentically, regardless of your gender identity, sexuality, race, age, religion and ability.

We can not recommend Stacey enough. We love Stacey’s kind and supportive nature. She was always there for us from first contact right through till after the wedding. She made our wedding ceremony run smoothly and we both felt very calm and relaxed on the day. Thank you Stacey for a beautiful ceremony we can not thank you enough.
